　　一个酗酒的二逼必须跟另一帮沙漠里面脑子有病的残忍土老帽儿玩儿被猎杀的游戏，你觉着他能坚持到最后么　　五名酗酒者, 成为贝德福德平原狩猎小镇的狩猎对象, 而沃伦则是佼佼者, 他们与镇民展开了输死搏斗, 面对全副武装的镇民, 他们能否逃出升天?　　得知前女友在墨西哥過世而且留下他們的女兒，酒鬼沃倫決定當個好父親，開始戒酒並前去接回女兒。途經一座沙漠小鎮停車休息，卻在當地意外陷入昏迷；再醒來後，沃倫發現自己恰巧遇上小鎮的狩獵季節，而獵物竟是沃倫與其他旅客！除了要應付鎮民的瘋狂追殺，同時還要克服不斷襲來的戒斷症狀，沃 倫能否順利逃出沙漠，與女兒共享天倫之樂？

 7th century Arabia. A time of feuding tribes vying for power and supremacy. Courageous Princess Hind (Aiysha Hart) refuses to serve as concubine to the merciless Sassanid Emperor Kisra (Sir Ben Kingsley). Escaping with her father King Numan into the vast and unforgiving desert, Hind is pursued by Kisra’s mercenary and his bloodthirsty troops. Father and daughter are forced to trust a mysterious bandit (Anthony Mackie). Against all odds, Hind unites the fractious tribes against the powerful invading military of the Sassanid Empire. 　　克隆技术在不远的未来有了长足的进步，但复制人仍是法理上不可逾越的禁区，政府通过《第六天法》严格禁止克隆人。　　飞行员亚当（Arnold Schwarzenegger 饰）拥有幸福的家庭，他出于本能的厌恶那些违背自然规律的基因技术。亚当平时的工作是和搭档送游客上雪峰，这天他们为宠物克隆公司的老板恰克（Tony Goldwyn 饰）服务，搭档顶替亚当驾驶却发生了意外……回到家中的亚当发现居然有一个克隆人顶替了自己的位置参加他的生日宴，莫名惊恐之下他又被来路不明的杀手追杀，他很快明白自己成为了宠物克隆公司的人类复制试验品，做为母体，他面临被消灭的危险。　　在逃亡的过程中亚当与暴力反对克隆人计划的组织合作，成功潜入宠物克隆公司，并控制了克隆人技术的负责人威尔博士……

　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
