欲望和智慧

　　这是一部寓言般，反浪漫的公路电影，男青年瓦尔特是个裁缝，每天帮着母亲缝制衣服，可是他向往外面的世界，于是他乘着母亲不备将母亲锁进屋子并偷了母亲的钱物找了一个哥们驾车兜风，在路上遇见了来旅游的泰欣娜和其女友，他们四人结伴而行，沉默寡言的两个男人和随心所欲的两个女人产生许多 戏剧冲突，他们一起住店，一起听摇滚音乐会，折腾许久以后，瓦尔特决定回家，回家后他若无其事地坐回缝纫机边继续他的裁缝生涯，仿佛一切未曾发生过。

 这是一位始终以两性关系、婚姻道德为主题的电影作者，这部获得奥斯卡最佳外语片的《掏出你的手帕》也不在例外。关于影片，布里耶是这样解释的：“表面上看这是一部怪诞的电影，但实际上这是一部彻底颠倒道德标准的片子，不过表现得比较委婉且具有魅力。如果仔细观察就可以看出，所有的道德价值都被颠倒了，所有的道德传统都被抛到了一边。人物的思想状态正处于一种极端混乱的时期，今天你也许还不会把妻子当作礼物送给别人，但也许将来你就可以做到了。”

　　20世纪80年代初，站街流莺辛蒂（瓦妮莎·哈金斯 Vanessa Hudgens 饰）险些遭人杀害。与此同时，在阿拉斯加一处荒凉所在，一名女性尸体被人发现。警官杰克·海尔康伯（尼古拉斯·凯奇 Nicolas Cage 饰）从辛蒂处了解到，凶手手段残暴无情，并且可能是个连环杀手。由于背负着不堪回首的过去，杰克一方面决定保护这个侥幸从死神手中逃脱的女孩，另一方面将目标锁定在曾在70年代有过前科的男子罗伯特·汉森（约翰·库萨克 John Cusack 饰）身上。罗伯特道貌岸然，不动声色继续着他的猎杀活动，当他意外再度出现在辛蒂面前时，正邪双方的对决即将到了关键时刻……　　本片根据真实事件改编。

　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

　　万圣节前一天，五名狂欢节员工被绑架挟持到一个称为“肃杀世界”的孤立院子。在万圣节时，他们会被扔进一个名叫“31”的虐待狂的游戏中，他们将面对一群穿得像小丑一样的疯子。然而，小丑并不是唯一需要担心的，一个更宏大的邪教仪式和更残酷的阴谋将被唤醒......

　　毕业于某高中的考特尼（Laura Ashley Samuels 饰）、瑞安（皮尔森·福德 Pierson Fode 饰）、南森（乔·阿德勒 Joe Adler 饰）等人聚在一起聊天，他们俊朗美丽，当初都是学校里备受人关注的明星人物。只不过站在顶端的风云儿常常促狭无度，他们随意捉弄其他同学，并以此为乐，当然彼此心中默默守护着一个不可轻易为外人道的秘密。某天，他们的同学吉米被一个带着玛丽莲·梦露面具的人抓住，随后以极其残酷的手段虐待致死。这件事令众人大为震惊，而他们随后也不约而同遭遇各种奇怪事件。　　一切似乎指向数年前发生在珊地海滩的一次“意外”，他们的一位同学溺水身亡，而刻意被隐藏的“意外”则成为他们今天深陷死亡漩涡的肇因。
